ASTM A333 grade 1 is built from carbon-based alloy for low temperature service. This chemical composition of the A333 carbon steel pipe includes phosphorus, manganese and Sulphur. Tensile strength and yield strength for A333 gr b pipe is variable among its grades, for example, the tensile strength is 380 MPa and yield strength is 205 MPa for grade 1 and the tensile strength is 450 MPa and the yield strength is 240 MPa for grade 3. While the tensile strength is 415 MPa and yield strength is 240 MPa for ASTM A333 grade 1 pipe schedule. The pipes made of SA 333 grade 1 material are meant for low temperature applications, and A333 grade 1 pipe are available in welded, ERW, CDW, fabricated or seamless type. Surface treatments include a finishing by Oil-dip or coating, Phosphating, Varnish, Passivation. It can be also anodized or finished polish. The A333 grade 1 pipe can be hot worked, but they cannot be hot worked below 1500 degrees F.
