Stainless Steel 15-5PH Bar is a martensitic precipitation hardening type stainless steel bar, and they are suitable for many industries. As they are excellent corrosion resistance, low-temperature hardening, and good fabrication properties. AMS 5659 H1025 can be machined in the solution-annealed state or the final heat treat condition.
Stainless Steel 15-5PH Round Bar offers better transverse toughness and ductility and better forge ability compared to 17-4 PH Stainless Steel Round Bar. It can be machined under any of the attainable environments and formed in overaged conditions. It is been heat-treated at 1038°C for 1/2 h, and then air-cooled. 15-5PH Hex Bar is useful in many industrial applications and some of them are aircraft components, paper mill equipment.
