IS 4923 Pipe is a Carbon Steel IS 4923 YST 240 Seamless Pipes which has unique composition and mechanical properties, they are also depended on ISO standards bearing 0.12% max. Carbon, 0.50% max. Weldability, Packing and identification information includes bundled by sealing metal strap and each bundle is labeled for measurement, size, lot number with approximate weight of each bundle 1.5 Mt (+/-500 kg) and weldable with standard M.S. Electrodes without any pre-heating.

Square and Rectangular specified ASTM A500 IS 4923 Pipe base carbon steel tends to be much higher. Minimum copper content added in this particular steel grade is optional. Carbon steel based IS 4923 YST 210 pipes used mainly for structural purposes and are used in the transportation of various media.
