They are available in different sizes, thickness, dimensions. Stainless steel 904L elbow is majorly available in two types, i.e 90 and 45 Deg anglesowing to their high demand in plumbing. They are used to change the direction of the flow. The 90 deg elbow is used to connect hoses to water valves, pumps, and deck drains, while the 45 degree elbow is used in water supply facilities, food, air-conditioning pipelines, solar-energy facility, garden production, agriculture.
There are different types of Stainless Steel 904L fittings such as elbow, tee, reducer, coupling, unions, cap, adapter, valve, plug, etc. ASTM A403 WP904L has excellent resistance to warm seawater and chloride attack. It contain high amounts of expensive ingredients, such as nickel and molybdenum. It Due to the presence of high amount of nickel in its composition it is highly resistant to stress corrosion cracking. ASTM B366 UNS N08904 develops resistance to sulphuric acid and other reducing agents in both mild and aggressive conditions in addition of copper.
