Alloy Steel Flange Material has chemical composition, such as nickel, nickel-chromium, molybdenum, chromium-molybdenum steels, and can differ according to its chemical composition. Low Alloy Steel Flanges are widely used for automotive and aerospace bodies, offshore and onshore structural engineering plates and railway lines. Alloy Steel Threaded Flanges is known as screwed flange and it has a thread inside the flange bore which fits on the pipe with matching male thread on the pipe. Chrome moly flanges provide improved levels of molybdenum and chromium.
Alloy Steel Plate Flanges are used to seal the end of pipelines, valves or other connection. With high tensile strength it is available with a raised face and backups for easy installation. ASTM A182 Alloy Steel Blind Flanges has mounting holes around the perimeter and the gasket sealing rings are machined into the mating surface. They have a solid disk used to block off a pipeline or to create a stop. It can be placed in between two open flanges, which stops the flow through a pipe. It does not have any openings for fluids to pass through.
