Hastelloy C276 Tubing has high nickel and molybdenum contents make it resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion in reducing environments while chromium delivers oxidizing resistance to media. During welding Hastelloy C276 Seamless Tube low carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation in order to maintain corrosion resistance in as-welded structures. Alloy C276 Tube resists formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat affected zone which makes it useful for most chemical processes in the as-welded condition.
